Rehabilitation professionals working with older adults encounter individuals with deficits in strength, endurance and aerobic capacity regularly. It is critical that rehabilitation professionals are skilled in screening and assessing these deficits and adequately performing interventions to address them.
This course will not only discuss the causes and contributing factors to these deficits but it was also discussed assessment tools, evaluation techniques, standardized assessments and patient interventions. The information introduced will be summarized at the end of the course and presented in a case study.
